Autobiography

I was born the 30 of September of 2001, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. The first school I enter was named Saint John’s, in which I stayed for my first school years all the way until the school decided to move into another location in the city, so I left that school and entered «Colegio Interamericano» for 2 years. I didn’t like much that insitute so then I decided to move into the Newland School, for which I stayed for the duration of my elementary school until my middle school years in which I came into the Jefferson School, who was the last institution I was in until my arrival to the TEC of Monterrey.

When I was really 5 years old my parents got divorced, which altough it was one of the most important events of my life, I didn’t took the notice in a bad way when I was younger, also I think that that event helped me to become more mature than other kids at the time, and also I believe it shaped my personality through the years. Another event who was extremely important for me was that in the 7 of september of 2011 in which my little brother was born. I had two other brothers before by the side of my dad, nevertheless as they weren’t that close to me I really didn’t create a really strong bond with them.

Sports life

Ever since I was a child, I always tried to do exercise in some way, I´ve tried a lot of sports during my childhood such as swimming, soccer, athletics, and crossfit. Nevertheless I wasn’t good at any of those. Yet thanks to my experience playing sports in my childhood, now a days I have an exercise routine which I followed every day, for which you can say it helped me developed an exercise culture. Now a days I train mixed martial arts for which I finally feel that I’m good at it.

Cultural Experience

Here at TEC we have an event called «Fiesta de Humanidades», in which we have to participate in some way. The event is focused on team work, speaking skills and the most important which is involving with the culture of our country, either making altars or cooking typical Mexican food to be served to the guests of the event.

Student Activities

I have participated un an event called MUN «Modelo de las naciones Unidas», which is a simulation of the United Nations Model of discussion of international issues. I have participated in 3 of them. One which I’ve participated as the assistant of logistics and the other two of them I was a delegate.

Community action and social leadership activities.

Here at TEC we are pushed into working in community service or as we called it «brigadas». We visit low-income schools and we helped by cleaning them, re-painting them or teaching the kids in those schools. We also have participated in «Eureka» which is an event we organized in which we bring kids from those schools here at TEC, and play games and do activities with them.

International Experience

For my international experience I chosed to travel to Quebec, Canada, in which we advanced a course about history of Quebec and also have some classes in french so we can improve with the language. These was one of the best experiences of my highschool, we really have an amazing time, full of anecdotes.

Elective Proyects

During my stay at TEC we have some special courses which are called «Optativas», me have to course two of them during our highscool. In my case I participated in the proyect of the United Nations Model which purpose was to participate and organize the before mentioned model, we organized the model which was carried out in this campus, and also we participate as delegates in the model of the campus «Santa Anita». Also I took the course of executive communitacion, which was done in english, and its main purpose was to improve and learn about better communication skills, including non-verbal communication and formality.

My Career

I wasn’t sure about the career I want to study for a long time, for a moment I wanted to have a career in the social studies area such as lawyer, and then I was inclined into studying politics. Nevertheless at the end of my highschool I end up inclining into studying something related to business and finance. These choice was made after talking with a cousin of mine who had a bachelor in global business at TEC, and she explained to me about her chosen career and so I became interested in such career.
